Take a peek at Tim Burton’s discarded ‘Superman’ from the ’90s. For $30 million, not a single frame was shot, possibly because of this bizarre costume made for star Nicolas Cage (or because the star was Nicolas Cage). 

I had completely forgotten about Nic Cage being cast as Superman. Perhaps that was a good thing.
